observation- girl studying, in library, sitting in a purple chair, has a backpack looks like it contains more books.

inferences- she is reading which means she wants to study. in a chair meaning she wants to be comforatable while studying. backpack which could mean that she could be coming from a class or is just studying before another class. in the library so she wants to be in a quite place so she can focus.

seeing her studying in the library might appeal to other students, making them believe it might be more effective to study in a quiet library, instead of a dorm room where you can be easily distracted with other things. this is demonstrating the rhetorical appeal of logos by making students think that studying in a library is more benefittial than studying in a loud enviroment.

Drugs

Video 1

i think that the audience this video is aiming toward would be teens. the tone is calm relaxed but still trying to get the message out there. the context, there is just some one talking and you see a pan frying an egg. they share the same purpose of telling you that drugs are bad and can hurt you. this video would not be so effective because it just talks about the drugs hurting you.

Video 2

in this video the audience is still teens. the tone has changed and became aggressive: from some one just talking, to actually seeing some one bash things with the pan. context you have visual evidence and a teen star talking to you. the purpose is the same to talk to you about drugs. i think this one was more effective because we have this young women talking to us telling us who we are hurting when we do it like your family.
